Bar & Pub
FG Café, Bistro & Bar brings you the story about Sarajevo in the old days, started two centuries ago, served with selection of best coffee, wines and fine food!
FG is opened in memory of Mr. Filip Grubisic, well known merchant and construction entrepreneur from Sarajevo, born on 26th of May, 1861. FG Café, Bistro & Bar has opened its doors on the ground floor of the building that Filip developed in 1914, in the heart of Sarajevo, at a location better know as Markale (named City Market – Markthalle).
FG is nestled in the busiest part of the city, minutes from the Sarajevo Cathedral and main walking street, Ferhadija.

2 months agoOne of my favourite places in Sarajevo. Friendly staff, good coffee, great food, great prices. Edit: Now they have become one of the few smoke free places in Sarajevo, which I love! Hopefully more cafes follow their steps soon.

a year agoNot only is this place beautifully decorated, it also serves amazing burgers, drinks, coffees and the service is second to none. You can instantly tell a lot of thought and heart got invested in, because FG has a unique soul. Located pretty much in the centre of Sarajevo, they excel in making stuff to eat and drink and also turning your stay into an experience. I'm sure there are a lot of cool businesses around, Sarajevo was always good at that. But people, you gotta try this venue, it's awesome.

4 months agoVery nice place, very nice cafe, very good food, very kind service. One of the best places that we have visitted this weekend. The prices were fair, and the portions were good. FG Burger is the best🔥

5 months agoI love this cafe. First of all, there are so many delicious things you can order besides all the classic coffee varieties (including domestic bosnian coffee) and drinks like freshly squeezed orange juice. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner offers as well as snacks and deserts (like palačinka). A lot of vegetarian options, too. And everything I had was perfect. The atmosphere is comfortable, the interior is lovingly designed. If you are looking for the bathroom, it's behind a movable bookcase (awesome?!). I also really liked the music. One day it was blues and funk for the most part, with a lot of classics, the other day it was still very funky but more contemporary, instrumental and lo-fi. The sound quality is great and the volume was just right - it was loud enough to mask the other guests talking but still not so loud that it was difficult to have a conversion. Super friendly waiters and low prices make this place a real recommendation.

a year agoHarry Potter is my association when it comes to this place. I won't tell you how to unlock the bathroom but you should find on your own. Music is not loud, service is lovely and they definitely gives something that you haven't seen so far in Sarajevo. What exactly? Once you find out on your own you'll understand what I am talking about 😊
