We did the Sarajevo Total Siege Tour. It was one of the best tours we’ve done. Having a guide who fought in the siege of Sarajevo was such an education. Wow! Fantastic customer service from Funky Tours! We contacted Ema for a private transfer from Split to Mostar - which included stops at Kravica Falls, Pocitelj, and Blagaj Tekke. Because of the full day of driving/touring and the border crossing, we felt the price was reasonable. We realize now it was worth every penny!! There was severe flooding in the region, and our driver Ajla had to come all the way from Sarajevo the night before. The car was comfortable, and Ajla was a great driver and very knowledgeable about the places we saw along the way, including kindly sharing her firsthand stories about post-war relations and sensitivities. Realizing that our planned train travel later from Mostar to Sarajevo wouldn't be possible due to the flooding, Ajla got on the phone figuring out solutions for us while we walked around Kravica Falls. Very quickly, she helped us map out a perfect plan: she helped us cancel one of the two nights in Mostar, she called to add a night to our Sarajevo hotel, and she stayed in Mostar overnight to give us a Mostar walking tour and the Herzegovina Wine Route tour (3 wineries!) the next day and then drive us on to Sarajevo, over the mountains the long way around all the flooding. Impressive customer service!! When we got to Sarajevo, we took the Sarajevo Total Siege Tour and Streets & Food Private Tour - both were excellent. We really can't say enough about how great Funky Tours was in taking care of us and making sure we were safe and had a terrific experience. Truly feel like we've made some friends in Bosnia & Herzegovina with the friendly folks at Funky Tours. Thank you Ema and Ajla and the whole crew!

We went to the Sarajevo Total Siege Tour with the War Tunnel included a week ago and it was so worth it. Our guide Adnan offered to pick us up at our hotel before the tour started, which was very kind. The tour in itself and hearing the guide, a veteran with own experience of the war telling us about the siege, was both powerful, interesting and deeply moving. To even imagine what it must have been like in Sarajevo (and the rest of Bosnia) during that time and to visit part of the (claustrophobic) tunnel that was used to link the city, was really food for thought...it is a reminder that peace is never something to take for granted. I have historical interest and specifically in this awful war, but I don't think one must have that specific interest to think the tour worthwhile. Adnan is also a really good guide with lots of factual and personal stories to tell, and often not without a little bit of humor here and there :) Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful experience with the two tours we booked, one on the Siege of Sarajevo, and the other on the genocide in Srebrenica. The guides were helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about their topics; we learned so much just from chatting with the guides. Organizing the tours were very easy and the staff who set it up were super responsive and friendly too. A model experience on how a tour should run. Highly recommended.

I had the MOST INCREDIBLE experience with Funky Tours. I did the Croatia sailing and it was amazing to see so many hidden gems and national parks. The yacht was EXTREMELY luxurious, the crew was awesome and the food was refreshing and delicious. My favorite part was being able to snorkel and get fresh oysters delivered boatside. Would highly recommend anyone and everyone to do the Croatia sailing tour. It is the BEST WAY TO see Croatia!
